Our Matthew is 6 months old! His well baby examination was today and is officially 16 pounds and 6 ounces; 26 1/4" inches long. He's developing right on target; the doctor said I can start him on 2nd foods. His next checkup will be at 9 months old (May). I took many (as usual) today to mark his milestone and got some great shots with the Nikon D60 camera. I have to admit I got some great snapsnots of Matthew. Where has the six months gone?

I cannot believe he is 6 mos. old already. Then again I cannot believe Elizabeth is now 4 mos. old. She is catching up to Matthew quickly. At 4 mos. they were the same length, but Elizabeth is a bit heavier at 14.5 lbs.
Looks and sounds like things are going well with new foods for Matthew. Elizabeth is on cereals. She loves oatmeal, but not the rice. I may have to add some bananas to encourage her to eat it!
