Introduction to sweet potatoes
After 10 days of green bean success, Matthew has moved next to sweet potatoes. He must've liked it because I couldn't feed him fast enough and he was getting angry, every time I reached to the camera to set the 10 second timer. After 2 ounces, he was full and wanted his bottle. It was a good lunch!
What a weekend!
What a great and busy weekend we had in Louisiana. Early Friday morning around 6:30, we left Houston on our way to Lafayette to John Sr's house. I fed Matthew his lunch and we followed each other to Baton Rouge to visit the Weldon family. They all enjoyed meeting Matthew, especially Great Grandma Peggy. We left there around 4:30 and headed up towards Shreveport to visit the Gray's. A stop in Alexandria at the Cracker Barrel was a perfect time to stop for dinner. We had a wonderful visit with the Gray family. We drove 865 miles between Friday and Sunday, returning home around 6:30 pm...

Past few days...
Hello to all! I've been wrapping the last Christmas gifts and catching up on my scrapbooking. I started Laurynn's 3rd grade scrapbook and making a lot of progress.
Laurynn's been with her Dad's family since the weekend and she'll come home on Christmas Eve. Friday morning, we're going to Louisiana to visit the Gray family for Christmas.

Sophie is always trying to get in Daddy's lap, even when he's holding Matthew.
Matthew loves his bottle
Matthew at 4 months and 2 weeks is starting to hold his bottle. He gets so angry when I take the bottle when it's time to burp. Matthew can take an 8 ounce bottle in about 15 minutes.

Update on green beans
Matthew had his 2nd day of green beans and he likes it! This time I fed him while he was in the bouncer and maybe he likes that better. He ate about 1 1/2 ounces of the green stuff and an 1 1/2 hour later followed up with an 8 oz. bottle. I'm a happy mom!

Laurynn's class holiday party
Laurynn had her class holiday party and I'm fortunate to attend. She was so glad I came. The students enjoyed snacks and making elf hats. She was even happier to be released at 2:45.

Matthew was introduced to green beans today and he liked it alright...Gotta start somewhere...Hopefully, he'll like it more days to come.
