After trying baby rice cereal on Matthew for the past 5 days with no success, I talked to the pediatrician and she suggested trying baby oatmeal. If he doesn't like oatmeal, she said to move on to baby vegetables and fruits. I tried him on oatmeal tonight and at first he was playing with it. I'd put a little bit in his mouth and he'd spit it out and run down his lower lip.
After playing this game for about 15 minutes, he started to get upset and protested all around. So, I stopped for tonight and resumed his formula.
I'll continue to encourage oatmeal for the next 4 days and hopefully he'll take a liking to it.
